Who we are
Mountainview Church has been a part of Sultan's community for over 50 years. Nestled in downtown Sultan, you will find believers who have been loving and praying for this community for 30+ years and others who have joined the faith in the last 6 months. Mountainview is proudly known for its outreach and support for the community. As an Assembly of God church we believe in the power of prayer, the presence of the Holy Spirit, and supporting missionaries all over the globe who are spreading the Gospel message.
Where we come from
Mountainview began as a small group of people meeting together in a home bible study. As this group grew, they moved into an old barn that was situated on a dairy farm. Although the original name of this congregation was Sky Valley Family Bible Church, it was known throughout the community as "The Glory Barn". Our building has expanded from its original form, but we still use the upstairs part of the barn for our kids' ministry and the downstairs area for our nursery and preschool department.
Over the years Sultan has grown, Mountainview Church has grown, and our commitment to be a part of this community is as strong as ever.
Where we're headed
More than ever, Mountainview Church is committed to fostering a family built around hope. Hope for the future. Hope for better. Hope for progress. Hope in Jesus. As we move forward as a church family, loving God and pointing people toward Jesus remains at the center of who we are as followers of Christ.
